The first thing that comes to my mind when I hear “Sydney” is of a beautiful friend of mine named after a beautiful city and there is one thing common between the two Sydney and it’s just that both are charming. Now, moving onto the bigger Sydney the city of harbours, opera house, bondi beach. This largest city of Australia is also the most visited. It’s a cosmopolitan city and one of top five expensive cities in the world. I have always adored natural wonders more than the structures made of stone and steel. Even the Taj Mahal couldn’t startle me but it was the Sydney Harbor Bridge that just left me in an awe. And it was just a beginning of wonderful things in Sydney. From the iconic Harbor Bridge to the Kings Cross there are plethora of attractions in Sydney. Here are a few things to do in Sydney: The Rocks: The Rocks is perhaps the oldest part of Sydney. This area is adored by ancient churches, colonial buildings and old pubs. The weekend street market makes this place very happening. It is said that every street at “The Rocks” has a story to tell. Sydney Harbour Bridge: Site of the bridge alone is exhilarating enough. Climbing the bridge is an experience in itself. The views from the bridge are panoramic. The Opera house views are just relishing. Opera House: Opera House is the most iconic attraction in all of Sydney. The architecture of the place is an art. The place holds shows and the tickets aren’t very expensive. Bondi Beach: Bondi is the most famous beach in the world. The beaches are the jewels of Sydney and full of happening people. Your dream vacation may be to get away on a secluded island leaving all responsibilities in your
home environment and work setting behind. For a vacation like that to happen, try staying in a
place where the water is your backyard such as Palm Beach in New South Wales. Many people
save up for a trip like that because it is so hard to resist especially with all the attractions this
little island has to offer such as taking a tour of the lighthouse, going to see the lion king in
person, or checking out some of their museums they have. There are so many other things to
do that you would want to stay at least 1-2 weeks.

If one of the main attractions you want to see is the lighthouse during your stay, then make
sure you take a tour of it on Sundays because that is the only day of the week they are available
for giving tours. From the lighthouse you can see everything beyond and around the island but
first you have to take a walk around a winding trail to get up to the top so be sure to wear your
walking shoes.

Your children and you may even enjoy watching actors and actresses perform the Lion King
London
. Of course you might have seen the cartoon characters sing and dance on television but
to your amazement, they have brought the Lion King back to your attention in an amazing play.
If you haven’t seen this play, be sure to purchase tickets and watch it. It is only available a few
days a week so you would not want to leave without watching it.

Wherever you live you can see museums anytime you want but you have not seen them like
you can see them in New South Wales. There are museums that will educate you on the history
of Sydney and its culture or you can check out museums that have art exhibits set out for you
to see. Whatever you are curious about, the museums will tell you all that you need to know
about each topic.

There may be the lighthouse, the Lion King play, and museums to see but you could also go
shopping and eat at their one of many fabulous restaurants where you can eat right on the
beach, and the water is so close that you can walk up to it and stick your feet in it. Not only
would this be the place for you to visit, but it could also be a place where you can get married
or spend time there during your honeymoon. It is a perfect place for all couples and single men
and women to just relax.
